Dr Chen Tai Ho together with some managers, beauty consultants and nurses of Premier Clinic was on hand to attend to the homeless on last Friday’s (24 February 2017) charity event in Kuala Lumpur.
At the charity event, it saw Premier Clinic doctors treated patients with ailments including upper respiratory tract infection, skin diseases, abdominal disorders and musculoskeletal aches. Medications and wound dressing were given and performed pro bono for the needy in hope they would recover from their infections and diseases.
Also present at the charity event was also a team of hair stylists who were there giving the homeless free hair cuts free of charge.
At the same time, they distributed meals of rice, chicken, vegetables, bread and cordial drinks to close to over 400 recipients present at the location.
Various groups of social workers were there at the location, all with different jobs, but they were there with one purpose, and that is to make a difference in the lives of those who were in need of it, doing what they can to contribute to the society. Nelson Mandela once said, “We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference.”
