Dr Chen Tai Ho and volunteers from Premier Clinic and PERTIWI were helping to see patients and distribute food and drinks free of charge to nearly 600 homeless people last night at Medan Tuanku and Kotaraya from 9pm to 12 midnight. Medicines for cough and cold, abdominal complaints, body ache, skin disease including scabies were given out to the needy.
Dr Chen even attended to a person requiring urgent treatment for chest pain due to heart disease. Wound dressings were also done by the volunteer nurses.
