WHAT IS LIPOCELL STEM CELL & WHAT PROBLEMS DOES IT HELP

LipoCell Stem Cell is a new treatment whereby we extract stem cells from your own fat. Little did we know, our fat cells contain adipose stem cells that can help in rejuvenating our health.

Stem cells are the natural cells that reproduce into functioning cells in our body. This process is important to replace any damaged cells or tissues. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Firstly, to know if you are a suitable candidate for LipoCell Stem Cell, our doctor will examine your health condition. If your condition is not permitting you to do the procedure, an alternative is needed. The general rules of thumb is, the younger you are, the more stem cells can be extracted.

If you are a person of a certain age, we would recommend using a donor (younger is better) with the same blood type so we can get more stem cells.

The procedure starts with the doctor extracting fat from the donor area. The extraction is done using a long cannula. The process is not painful as we will induce patient with local anaesthesia to avoid any discomfort. However, please note that only an experienced and skillfully trained doctor should perform this procedure as there is a risk of injuring internal organs if an amateur practitioner performed it.

Then, the extracted fat will be processed in a centrifuge where we add in the catalyzer that will separate the pure stem cells from fat. The doctor will also extract a minimal amount of your blood to process into a Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) which will help to brak down the fat cells into smaller particles. This will ease the stem cells extraction.

Lastly, the processed pure stem cell will be injected back into patients body through localised injection or IV drip.

POST-PROCEDURE CARE

As LipoCell Stem Cell is a minimally invasive treatment, patient is requested to avoid hard physical labour for 2 weeks to get the donor area healed fully. We will supply patient with anti-inflammatory and anti-infection cream to help speed up the healing process.

You may expect the donor area to be shrinking after the procedure. We usually suggest patients to use their belly or love handle fat so we can simultaneously help you sculpture your body.

Besides that, there should be no issues with LipoCell Stem Cell.
